Baku City Tour and Old City Tour
Acquaintance with the capital will begin with Upland Park and the Martyrs Alley. Here you will receive a brief reference on the history of the country. You can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city of lights and winds of Baku. Walk along the beautiful Primorsky Boulevard, the longest boulevard in Europe. Its length is 25 km. Beautiful sea and exotic plants. Further inspection Museum of the Azerbaijani carpet named after Latif Karimov (external inspection), in appearance resembles a carpet. This is the first carpet museum in the world. You will also see the Center of Azerbaijan Mugam and little Venice.
Next, you go down to the Old City, in the heart of Baku. Passing through the Salyan gates of the Old City, you find yourself from an ultramodern city in the Middle Ages. The walls of the fortress take you to another reality, and you find yourself in a fairy tale of the ancient east. The castle of the rulers of Shirvan, the Caravanserai, the Maiden’s Tower, mosques dating back thousands of years of history, these and dozens of other historical sites can be seen in the Old Town, which is a historical heritage of UNESCO and is under its auspices.
Next visit to the Museum of Miniature Books.
From 2014 to 2016, the museum was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest collection of miniature books in the world. The museum’s collection contains more than 7000 books, the size of which does not exceed 100 millimeters in length and width.
A visit to the famous artist Ali Shamsi.
The artist’s workshop is a storehouse of all kinds of stuff, where he puts together wonders (skulls, stuffed animals, stones, souvenirs, etc.) brought from far corners of the country, dried grenades, installations made of metal and improvised tools and a huge number of paintings of various subjects and sizes. The walls are covered with inscriptions of visitors with good wishes and photographs of famous personalities who visited the workshop.

Next Heydar Aliyev Center One of the symbols of modern Baku. Fantastic building built by architect Zaha Hadid. Zaha Hadid brought the understanding of the building to a completely different level. The building symbolizes the connection of the past with the future. The building, executed in a modern style, is an exact copy of the signature of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Yasil Bazar, or Green Market, offers an authentic local experience when you travel to Baku. When you find yourself in the center, Icheri Sheher or in shopping centers, you will see few working Baku People. Move away from the city center and take a walk to the railway station to find your favorite market in Baku. People from all over Azerbaijan sell organic vegetables and fruits, including grapes and pomegranates at the Yashil Bazaar. Lower prices and a direct contribution to the local economy make this market a win-win for everyone.
