Excursion to Sighnaghi and Guaani

The first stop of our excursion will be Sighnaghi - the city of Love. Sighnaghi is a small town in eastern Georgia, on a mountain slope, in the historical region of Kakheti. The center of the historical and geographical region of Kiziki. Situated on terraces connected by winding steep streets.
Next we will go to the Guaani family winery - On the territory of the plant there are remains of a qvevri (clay vessel), buried in the ground in 1894 in honor of the birthday of Mikhail (Mikhako) Giuashvili. Since that year, the Giuashvili family began commercializing the wine they produced. In 2010, the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment inspired the company to move to a new stage of production.
Guests of the Giuaani winery are invited to visit the plant of the same name, taste wines produced using the qvevri method (traditional Georgian method), as well as wines produced using the European method, barrel wines and Georgian chacha.
