Beautiful carved balconies, unique ceremonial, famous Tbilisi courtyards, this is all that the city is famous for.

During a walking tour with a professional guide, we will go up to the Narikala Fortress, see Tbilisi from a bird's eye view, visit the fig gorge and the famous sulfur baths complex, take a walk along the side streets of the famous Sharden region.

At the end of the tour we are waiting for a tasting of famous Georgian wines in one of the cellars of the city.

Tsinandali Manor is a family estate of the Georgian princely family Chavchavadze. The owner of this estate was the first to bring European wine manufacturing technology to Georgia. A walk around the estate and a glass of wine will help you plunge into the atmosphere of 19th century aristocratic Georgia.

Next we will proceed to the small winery Lekso’s Marani, which is famous for its wines from qvevri. You are waiting for a tasting of 4 types of premium wine with snacks and stories from the owner of the winery. Then we will go to the famous Alazani Valley - and the town of Kvareli, in the vicinity of which many wineries flourish.

In Kvareli you will visit a traditional family. You will learn what a traditional Georgian feast is, with homemade wine, chacha, and of course the Kakheti kebab, which is fried on a vine. Not without Georgian eloquent toasts!

Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi

A connoisseur of Georgian dishes and a wonderful cook will teach you how to navigate Georgian seasonings and products, you will learn what ingredients you need to use to cook Georgian dishes, which meat and cheese to choose, and what you can replace, if necessary, specific Georgian seasonings at your home. Then you immerse yourself in the creative process of cooking dinner. At lunch, you will certainly try what you yourself cook under the guidance of our cook, drink wine and listen to entertaining stories about Georgian customs and life.

Mtskheta - once the main city of the Kartvelian kingdom, the heart of Georgia. Kartli gave the name to the whole country (in Georgian, Georgia is called Sakartvelo), becoming the center of the unification of Georgian lands.

Having lost the status of the state capital, the city retained the status of the spiritual capital. The main Georgian Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, several of the oldest monastery complexes are located here. According to legend, the enlightener of Georgia Saint Nina of Cappadocia lived in one of them. And the other was described in the famous poem by M. Yu. Lermontov “Mtsyri”. The town is woven from the antiquities of the early Middle Ages, here each building is a cultural monument, not without reason Mtskheta is under the protection of UNESCO.
Next we will proceed to a small village in the municipality of Tianeti. In this region, centuries-old traditions of making a rare type of cheese - dambal hacho - have been preserved. The recipe and cooking technology are included in the UNESCO intangible heritage list.

In a small production, you will learn the intricacies of manufacturing technology, as well as try this rare cheese. Serve it in a hot pan, melted in a large amount of butter. Georgian mountain cheese fondue in addition to a traditional feast.

Georgian military road

The Georgian Military Road was built two hundred years ago, after Georgia joined the Russian Empire. In those years, traveling from Tiflis took at least a month. In the village of Gudauri, today it is a young developing, but already well-known ski resort, the building of the postal station has been preserved, where travelers could change horses.
Ananuri
The road runs to the Cross Pass along the course of the Aragvi River. Past the remarkable beauty of the Zhinvali reservoir, formed in the Soviet years, of the traditional mountainous Georgian villages. We will stop in Ananuri, at the once impregnable fortress, which served as an outpost of defense and the residence of the rulers of this region 400 years ago. We will go through mountain gorges, we will climb steep cliffs along the fast mountain rivers. Snow giants will rise to the right and left of us, and the main and most powerful of them is Kazbek.

Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)

At the foot of Kazbeg is the ultimate goal of our journey. The village of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). This is a unique climate zone. The village is located on the left bank of the still young, but turbulent Terek, starting its way to the Caspian Sea from these places. In addition to a beautiful view of Mount Kazbek, the amazingly beautiful surroundings and the purest mountain air, the village boasts unique cultural monuments.

We will visit a unique temple located at an altitude of 2170 meters above sea level. Below, from the banks of the Terek, the Gergeti Church of the Holy Trinity (Gergetis Tsminda Sameba) looks like a tiny fragment of past centuries, the times of the greatness of the human spirit.

Khinkali lunch and workshop

On the way back to the village of Pasanauri, which is considered the birthplace of khinkali, we will have a hearty lunch and a small master class on cooking this famous and fragrant dish!
